We build the account

Trials are created by a person, not a script, which is why they are not instant. Your credentials arrive by email — look in the spam folder if nothing has appeared within the hour.

Sign in and test it properly

Install a player, type the credentials once, and go straight to the channels you actually care about. A trial spent checking your own teams and your own shows tells you far more than a tour of the guide.

A full day, counted from activation rather than from when you filled in the form. That is deliberately long enough to cover an evening of live television and a morning of poking around the on-demand library, which is where most people make their mind up.

Anything that runs a player app. Our advice is to test on the set you would really watch on rather than the most convenient screen — a trial that works beautifully on a laptop tells you very little about the television in the front room. One screen at a time during the trial.
